We invite you to meet the artist, and enjoy both our first exhibition of 2022, and her first ever solo show.
Join her informally at Alchemist Gallery on Saturday 2nd April 2022 from 10.30am until 1pm, to chat about her journey and discover more about her Pacific Islander roots. Her tribal culture is illustrated in some of the works, where there is lots of interest going on in the detail.
Cathy's exhibition, ‘The Land, The Sea and My People’, a series of contemporary artworks is now open to the public and runs until 12th April 2022 at Alchemist Gallery, Dingwall.
Designs and patterns, such as repeating shark’s tooth, basket weave and spear point, express shared humanity between her Papuan heritage and the Scottish Highlands.
